1. Information we collect

Account information

When you create an account via Sign in with Apple, we receive your Apple-provided user identifier and, if you choose to share it, your name and email address. Apple may provide a private relay email address instead of your real address.

Trip & activity data

We store data you create within the app, including logged trips, park visits, attraction check-ins, passport progress, trivia scores, and preferences such as favorite parks and home destination.

Location data

With your permission, Queue collects your device's location to provide geofenced park detection and location-aware features. You can disable location access at any time in your device's Settings. See Section 10 for details.

Device & usage data

We may collect device type, operating system version, app version, and general usage patterns (such as screens visited and feature engagement) to improve the Service. We do not use third-party analytics SDKs. Any analytics are first-party and aggregated.

Queue+ subscribers may access AI-powered features (such as the trip planner) that use the Anthropic API to generate personalized recommendations. When you use these features, relevant context — such as your park preferences, travel dates, and party size — is sent to Anthropic's servers to generate a response.

Anthropic processes this data solely to provide the response. Under Anthropic's commercial API terms, data sent through the API is not used to train their models. We do not send your name, email, Apple ID, or account identifier to Anthropic.

We retain your account and activity data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or necessary for legitimate business purposes (such as resolving disputes).

Aggregated, de-identified data that cannot reasonably be used to identify you may be retained indefinitely for analytics and product improvement.

We implement industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at-rest encryption for stored data. Authentication is handled through Supabase with row-level security policies. While we take reasonable precautions, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.

Queue is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. Queue uses location data to detect which park you are visiting, enable geofenced features, and improve location-aware recommendations. Location access is optional and requested at runtime — the app functions without it, though some features will be limited.

We do not continuously track your location in the background. Location data is processed on-device for park detection and is not shared with third parties except as necessary to provide the Service.

11. Subscriptions & purchases

Queue+ subscriptions are processed entirely through Apple's In-App Purchase system. We do not collect or store your payment information — all billing is handled by Apple in accordance with their privacy policy. We receive a transaction receipt confirming your subscription status but no financial details.

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. For significant changes, we may also notify you through the app. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
